C Section Scar Massage

Advanced Sports Massage

C-section scar massage is a gentle, specialist treatment designed to support healing, reduce tightness, and improve mobility in the lower abdominal area following surgery.

Even once fully healed, scar tissue can create restriction beneath the surface, leading to:

• Tightness or pulling sensations
• Lower back or pelvic discomfort
• Core weakness
• Reduced mobility
• Sensitivity or numbness around the scar

This treatment focuses on soft tissue techniques that help:

✔ Improve tissue elasticity
✔ Encourage healthy scar remodelling
✔ Reduce adhesions
✔ Restore comfort and movement
✔ Support confidence and body awareness

All treatments are carried out with sensitivity and respect in a calm, professional environment. Your comfort is always the priority, and pressure is adapted to suit your stage of healing.

Suitable once the scar is fully healed (typically 8–12 weeks post-surgery, or with medical clearance if unsure).

Kinesiology (Add On)

ChatGPT Image Feb 1, 2026, 02_53_23 PM.png

Kinesiology is a gentle assessment method that uses muscle response testing to help identify underlying factors that may be contributing to physical tension, discomfort or slow recovery.

As an add-on to your massage, this allows me to look beyond the surface and consider how structural, nutritional, emotional or neurological stressors may be influencing your body.

This can help us to:

✔ Identify patterns contributing to recurring tightness
✔ Support injury recovery more holistically
✔ Improve treatment focus and precision
✔ Address stress-related tension
✔ Support nervous system balance

The assessment is calm, non-invasive and fully clothed. It is used purely to enhance your massage session and tailor treatment more specifically to your needs.

This is not a standalone diagnostic service, but a supportive addition to your hands-on therapy.
